A DC Maybe Sale

Batman and Robin: Year One

Remember several months back when Marvel was experimenting with having a quasi-sale price on one or two new releases each week? Well, DC may be dipping a toe into that. It isn’t always worth noting and this week’s “big” example really isn’t the price we’d like to see it at, but we’ll throw it out there and let you judge: Batman & Robin: Year One (Mark Waid/Chris Samnee) is listed at $16.19. Yes, that’s a bizarre price, but we seen it on one other site, so it appears to be intentional? That’s against a $29.99 digital list (and paperback) price. Would we like to see something a good deal cheaper to call it a sale? Certainly, but it’s a 12-issue collection and ~$1.35/issue isn’t horrible for a new release. Your call. We’ve heard nothing but good things about it and it’s in our reading pile.
