In this week’s Comixology (at Amazon) sales, we’re making a special Tuesday appearance for Prime Day.

Where did the New Releases and Sale pages go?

(Disclosure: If you buy something we link to on our site, we may earn a commission.)

In case you’re having troubles with the new UIX (a LOT of people have been):

We’re popping in to have a look at the Prime Day short term comics offerings and we’ll be back at the usual time for this week’s “normal” sales.

The Prime Sale

Helen of Wyndhorn  Invisible Kingdom  The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes: A Calvin and Hobbes Treasury

The Prime Day sale on Kindle (digital) comics is here.

Yes, that’s a lot less than Marvel had last time around, but there are some interesting bits.

Helen of Wyndhorn by Tom King / Bilquis Evely / Matheus Lopes is a ’25 Eisner winner and is actually sitting on our to be read pile right now. We know Tom King is pretty high on the reading list for .cheap readers (and it’s not like Lanterns is lowering his profile).

Invisible Kingdom Volume 1  by G. Willow Wilson / Christian Ward is really part 1 of 3, but we enjoyed this SF conspiracy about the religion teaming up with corporate business to hatch nefarious plans.

The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes also pops up here and we’re raising at eyebrow. Not at the strip. We don’t trust people who don’t like Calvin & Hobbes. No, we’re raising an eyebrow at this having actually been on an unlisted sale for a couple of weeks.

If you wanted to explore <shudder> Printed Comics, there’s a wider selection today. And here’s the link if you were specifically looking for Marvel in print.

Unannounced Sales
