In this week’s Comixology (at Amazon) sales, DC discounts Clayface while having a Halloween sale. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077.

Where did the New Releases and Sale pages go?

In case you’re having troubles with the new UIX (a LOT of people have been):

There Must Be a Movie

Legends of the Dark Knight Norm Breyfogle   Detective Comics by Tynion  Batman by Brian K. Vaughn

The DC Clayface Sale runs through Monday, 11/2.

How much are Clayface comic appearances going to resemble the film? Based on the trailer, we have our doubts. That said, a block of mostly recent Clayface appearances are on sale. We’ll nod at three things:

  • Legends of the Dark Knight: Norm Breyfogle Vol. 1 – Alan Grant / Norm Breyfogle – Yes, we’d prefer it be a couple bucks less, but this one has a stooopid regular price and it’s the beginning of the excellent Grant/Breyfogle collaboration, which includes “The Mud Pack” as the different Clayfaces converge
  •  Detective Comics (’16) – The opening James Tynion IV / Eddy Barrows / Alvaro Martinez run features a reformed Clayface
  • Batman by Brian K. Vaughn – Brian K. Vaughan / Scott Kolins / Scott McDaniel / Rick Burchett; Here the Clayface draw is actually from Wonder Woman. We presume we don’t have to list Vaughn’s credentials

Trick or Stabby Stabby

Nice House on the Lake  Blackest Night  Night Force

The DC Super-villains/Halloween Sale runs through Sunday, 11/1.

Yes, a Sunday ending is unusual but they’re a little more in tune with the notion of a Halloween sale actually running on Halloween than Marvel is.

Quite the eclectic mix with this one. We’ll also reiterate the standing advice that not every $9.99 price tag is necessarily a real sale, but for the right volume, it’s not necessarily a bad price. It just better have AT LEAST 10-12 issues in it.

There’s a lot more here, but some highlights:

Unannounced Sales

Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberpunk 2077 Big City Dreams Nemesis Reloaded

As always, it isn’t clear when the unannounced sales will end.

Looks like there’s an unannounced sale on Dark Horse’s Cyberpunk 2077. A video game adaptation with an interesting award to its credit.

The first five collections can be found here. The Omnibus here, should you prefer that format.

After which, the property went to the album format Dark Horse sometimes uses for titles with a higher bookstore profile, which are listed with the single issues:

Dark Horse is still having a sale on their Mark Millar line of comics, AKA Millarworld, including:

For our money, Starlight is way under appreciated. The Hollywood elevator pitch would be along the lines of “Flash Gordon’s retirement isn’t going well.”

Also on sale

And have a look at the $5 and under page.
