The DC Batman Day 2026 Sale runs through Monday, 9/28.

Back to back DC sales again. As is the case these days, the pricing is a little all over the map with some $4.99s that are good deals and some $9.99s that are less so. Let’s hit the highlights first

Your classic / pre-New 52 material is largely going to be in:

New 52 and forward, you’re looking at:

What’s good? Well, that should be fairly obvious. Beyond the obvious, for $4.99/volume, we’re big fans of the 5-volume “Gotham Nocturne” sequence in Detective by Ram V, Rafael Albuquerque and Ivan Reis on the main story. It’s an odd gothic horror take on Batman and it floated our boat. That starts here.

You also can’t go wrong rooting through the original Batman and Detective Comics for the Alan Grant / Norm Breyfogle volumes. We wish they were a little lower than $7.99, but that’s good stuff and we thought it aged just fine.
